However, they now should pray to Australia to hammer West Indies in their last super-eight games. Brian Lara may return to cricket

The high back-lift legend Brian Lara may return to competitive cricket one more time. Perhaps one last time. Though he have not played competitive cricket for almost 2 years after getting retired in 2007. Lara who would be turning 41 soon is pursued to play from English County team Surrey for their T20 format. Although nothing is finalized yet, but the record holder of highest score 400* in test match may plan to have the taste of the game that he never got to play. Lara got retired just before T20 format made flash at the international stage. As it is rightly said, every fighter has one last fight remaining in him and Lara may be ready to prove that.

There have been various attempts of come backs in the game of cricket. Sourav Ganguly made blasting come back after almost an year. None had answer to what he had brought with him to the team. Lara is the kind of a player that cannot only boost team’s zeal but also pushes opponents  one step back and take a note of this man before making any foolish delivery.

New logo for Cricketsimple by Cyclo

Logo: probably a shortening of logogram “sign or character representing a word” is something that is very close to organizations and websites. In simple term, it is an image that reflects your brand, organizational value and vision. When I thought of designing a logo, I designed it in a PowerPoint. I accept that logo sucks but then, I had no option. However, Aniket and I was continuously thinking about getting a new logo that shall convey vision we have for this website. But none of us was comfortable with designs and photo shop.

When we were talking about “branding, vision and marketing“ who else other than Joel Xavier aka Cyclo(his Dorm name at IIM-A) would be authorized to talk about? So here he is with a new logo that he designed exclusively for us.

A little about him

Joel aka Cyclo is an IIM-A graduate. He is also a fundoo designer, avid rider & crazy photographer by heart.

Ramesh was the ultimate CRICKET fan. He followed cricket religiously through out his life. He went to watch all the cricket matches played during his life. He had collection of many videos, photos, autographs of all cricketers . He was true devotee of a game . Unfortunately, he passed away and went up to heaven.

When he arrived at the gates of heaven he came across YAMARAJ. “Greetings Ramesh, we have been expecting you” YAMARAJ said.

Ramesh asked YAMARAJ… “What is heaven like then?” YAMARAJ replied “All the greats are here, Bradman, Marshall, Wesley Hall, Larwood and they all play CRICKET here on the replicas of the great Stadiums.”

“Bradman bating against Larwood ??? This is my idea of heaven!” Ramesh exclaimed.

“Exactly!” YAMARAJ replied.

As we always take name of a god before starting a new venture, let me also follow the suit. Ofcourse god I am talking about is Sachin.
With due respect to him for whatever he has given to us right from our childghood till date, let me start off with the welcome post.
