Players shaking hands with no offence meant
The Fair Play award involves a league-table running over the course of the entire IPL season. The winner will be the team that, in the eyes of the umpires, has played fairest game and has accumulated most points per match. The awardees are decided based on the points earned by them. Points are awarded to teams for respect to the laws of the game and respect to their opponents. At the end of season each member of the winning team will be presented with a glittering precious trophy sponsored by Kingfisher Airlines. Last season Punjab topped the fair play table. Updated fair play table of IPL – 2010 is as follows.
