Pakistan Alleges Involvement of Indian State Actors in IPL Fiasco

In an unexpected development in the morning, Pakistan government alleged the involvement of Indian state actors for the recent IPL fiasco related to selection in fact no-selection of Pakistani players.  Pakistani president Mr. Yousaf Raza Gilani claimed that they had strong proofs, to prove that (pun intended), it was not the Indian government but the Indian state actors were involved in the rejection of Pakistani players in the third edition of IPL.

He said, right after the controversy broke out Pakistani government had ordered the ISI to deploy its resources (read agents) to investigate the case to Dubai. He said the investigation revealed startling details of the conspiracy.  The Indian state actors involved in this controversy are Saharukh Khan, Juhi Chawla, Priety Zinta and Shilpa Shetty. Apart from these actors there is one more person involved whose name they refused to reveal. Our sources say that this person is none other than the leading Indian Tennis star Sania Mirza who recently announced her marriage with Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik which is to take place at Hyderabad on 15th April

With this development the tension between two neighbors who already share a sore relationship is expected to rise. When contacted, Mr. Obama the American president said that his country is keeping a close watch on this unexpected development. “Yes we can and yes we will surely try and do every possible thing to reduce the tension between India and Pakistan”. His deputy Mr. Joe Biden said “This is one f***ing news”. The secretary of state Hillary Clinton said “Her country is committed to resolve the issues between the two countries. We will use all the means at our disposal to reduce the tension. This includes giving F-16’s, drones and other advance military hardware along with monetary help to Pakistan”

Meanwhile the Indian government has denied all these allegations. The External affairs minister Mr. S.M. Krishna said that this is a deliberate attempt by Pakistan to escalate the tension between the two countries. “They want to divert the attention of media from the recent chemistry struck between their foreign minister Mr Shah Mehmood Qureshi and the American secretary of state Hillary Clinton” he said. At the same time Minister of state for External affairs Mr. Sashi Tharoor again created controversy by tweeting that he was extremely happy with recent developments only to clarify later that he meant with the inclusion of team Kochi in IPL.

The home minister Mr. P. Chidambaram meanwhile dismissed the Pakistan allegation by good logical reasoning. He said the Pakistani claims that the government ordered the ISI is absurd. It is always the later which orders the former to do things. He also ridiculed the claim that state actors are involved. Shahrukh Khan and Shilpa Shetty are not state actors. They are not even national actors. They are in fact International actors. Remember Shilpa Shetty won the UK big boss show and Shahrukh Khan is famous all around the world. Priety has been away from the films from quite a long time and Juhi Chawla is no longer an actor. She quit a long time ago. About the Sania Mizra angle he said that it’s a personal decision by the two and India fully respects their decision.

When contacted, Mr Lalit Modi the chairman of IPL said he was unaware of the claims and as he was busy with a new idea that struck him recently. He took a strategic break before he returned back to share his new idea. He said that he was looking at the possibility of showing the commercial advertisements and the match at the same time. We are checking the feasibility of showing ads on half screen and the match on the other half screen of the TV. Thanking the sponsors DLF, Citi, MRF and Karboon mobile he said he was pretty sure that this will be implemented in the fourth edition of the IPL.
