As we always take name of a god before starting a new venture, let me also follow the suit. Ofcourse god I am talking about is Sachin.
With due respect to him for whatever he has given to us right from our childghood till date, let me start off with the welcome post.

Which is the largest religion in India? No points for guessing it. Undoubtedly, it’s cricket.

Unfortunately census does not consider it as religion; nonetheless we follow it. More than 90% of people believe that cricket is our national sport, though officially it’s not, but when we consider its popularity it’s certainly our national sport. We are crazy about it, aren’t we? We bunk lectures, we take leave from office, we reschedule our appointments, we pray, we worship, we celebrate, we bet, we discuss, we argue, we abuse, we fight and what not, the list is endless.

But, today do we miss any of these actions? Well most of us. Remember our salad days when we used to play cricket, discuss each and every detail of it with our friends, loved ones and even with strangers. We used to watch repeat telecast number of times; we used to read different articles on same topic. We used to collect clippings from different sources. We even followed local tournaments. But as days passed, some of these moments became part of the memories. And today we don’t even watch a complete match let alone playing. I agree, priorities have changed but can’t you spare some time on what you were passionate about. Think! Nostalgia! But, How? When? Where?
